Can you guess what’s wrong with this picture?
The silver car isn’t parked in the lines and has made two disability parking spaces into three.
As a result, I wasn’t able to get into my Mums car on the right because it was parked too close and also blocked the ramp. Luckily my Mum was able to move her car to allow me access. What would I have done if I was on my own?
Disability parking spaces are wider to allow access. This is particularly important for those using wheelchairs.
Always park within the lines. Big fines apply for parking in disability parking without a valid permit.
