I found The Postcard Place in Vancouver. It’s my dream store as an avid postcard collector.
I began collecting postcards at college when an aunt sent them to me. Some were free with advertisements and others were from places she visited. Each had its own story written on the back.
I stuck the postcards to my wall as decoration with my favourite in frames.
I was then lucky enough to collect more from friends and family who travelled. Each again had its own story.
I continue to add to my collection when I travel or visit great exhibitions. I am disappointed when I can’t find postcards.
I have clear albums from Muji filled with hundreds of postcards.
