I was eligible to book three months before my intended stay and for two nights. I was excited for my stay in January 2024.
Getting there
The most wheelchair accessible route to the hotel is by the train to JR Maihama Station. You can use your JR rail pass. It’s a short distance to the Resort Gateway Station. Purchase new tickets and ride the Resort Line monorail getting off at the second station, Bayside Station. Help can be requested from station staff if you would like a slope (ramp) to get on and off the monorail. There is plenty of space for wheelchairs and luggage. Cross the road and it’s a short distance uphill to the hotel. I’d recommend taking a support person with you to give a helping hand uphill.
Only guests with reservations can access the hotel. We were greeted at the bottom of the hotel and our reservations were checked before we were permitted up the hill to the hotel.
Check-in is at 15:00. There are services to pre-check-in and leave bags on early arrival. We did this and our bags were taken directly to our room when we returned later that afternoon.

At the hotel
The theme of Toy Story was done well and it is visually appealing. It was a happy place to stay.

We stayed in a Standard Accessible Room on level four. It was closest to the elevator and I appreciated not having to push far on carpet. There is flat elevator access and no steps in the room. It was spacious inside.

A bath chair was provided that sat outside the bath. The bathroom drained well. It did take up some room and can be stored out of the way near the toilet. I wasn’t able to reach the taps or hose without assistance. The sink was roll under and I could see myself in the mirror.

There is a restaurant that you can book a table and dine. It is a buffet with a variety of western and Asian food and drink.

There is a convenience store. It is wheelchair accessible. It has almost anything that you could possibly need including snacks, drinks, toiletries and souveniers.

There is a souvenir store selling Disney merchandise. It saves buying and carrying around the resorts.
Access to the resorts
Access is possible to Tokyo Disney Resort and Tokyo Disney Sea. Monorail tickets can be purchased for multiple trips. Staying close by means that you can leave and re-enter resorts throughout the day. We did this when it began to get cold or to drop off some shopping or for a rest.

I want to return and stay again. It brought so much joy with attention to detail.
